On Sunday 24th August 2008 a Summer Ball took place at the Conway Centre, Anglesey. The evening was a fund raising event to support Al's Therapy
It was a fantastic success and attended by 206 guest, buzzing from 7pm to 1am.
The company was great, the food outstanding and the Band got virtually everyone up 1st song
Nigel Bonnet & Dia Lampard hosted the Auction and raised £1,780
Holly and Charlotte Swann - Raised £403 on lucky dip prizes
The Open Prize Draw raised £2,355
These together with general personal donations and generous financial support from sponsors towards the running cost resulted in an overall money raised to be over £12,000 to help fund therapy for Al's Cancer
The best thing was Al managed to stick it out to the end, his taxi was giving him the hoot!
